Speed boat Elphinstone reef
We offer you a speed boat trip to a very nice dive site in the Red Sea. Elphinstone Reef is a very famous dive site in the Red Sea. It is one of the northernmost reefs of the Red Sea. The strong corrents here bring whitetip and hammerhead sharks to this isolated area, but other species also frequent to the reef. The entire reef of Elphinstone is a carpet of soft coral. As a result, it attracts almost all fish species that live in the Red Sea, from hammerheads and gray reef sharks to clownfish and scorpionfish. From July to October you can also spot manta rays and rays at Elphinstone.
Important information: minimum Advanced Open Water Diver license is required.
This is the planning of your amazing daytrip:
We will pick you up at your hotel to be at 6:00 in the morning at the marine.
There you can prepare your equipment and we will help you if it's needed. And after that, we will start the briefing. It will be a 25 minute drive to the reef of Elphinstone. The first dive will be a drift dive with your guide. It will be a great experience. During surface time you can relax at the speed boat and change your tank. We will make the second briefing. The second dive will be at the same place. After this dive, we will return tot the harbour.
